Supervises and participates in collection, analysis, and dissemination of area intelligence information.
Interviews, screens, and assesses area intelligence potential of selected personnel for operational utilization; trains selected personnel in methods and procedures; briefs selected personnel on operational aspects of area intelligence missions; obtains intelligence information by interview, debriefing, or other means; analyzes information to determine potential utilization based on degree of adequacy, accuracy, and validity; adheres to security regulations in processing of intelligence data; performs intelligence research to obtain necessary mission data; prepares intelligence reports or summaries with data received from various sources.
Participates in and assists in supervision of collection of area intelligence; performs duties shown in preceding level of skill and provides technical guidance and supervision of lower grade personnel in accomplishment of these duties; supervises the collection of area intelligence information; serves as principal intelligence operations NCO at headquarters of major command designed for support of theater Army or higher headquarters; assists command and staff officers in continuous appraisal of intelligence, operations, and training situations for area intelligence units; collects, prepares, and distributes material and data on intelligence, operations, and training; supervises operations, training, intelligence, and area intelligence activities; performs principal noncommissioned officer duties associated with SQI M.
Supervises the collection of area intelligence information; serves as principal intelligence operations NCO at headquarters of major command designed for support of theater Army or higher headquarters; assists command and staff officers in continuous appraisal of intelligence, operations, and training situations for area intelligence units; collects, prepares, and distributes material and data on intelligence, operations, and training; supervises operations, training, intelligence, and area intelligence activities; performs principal noncommissioned officer duties associated with SQI M; provides advice and makes, recommendations to the commander aid staff on all matters pertain to enlisted personnel and their families; accompanies the commander on inspections and visits and at ceremonies; assists in inspection of command activities facilities aid personnel as prescribed by the commander; holds First Sergeants' or Sergeants' Major call to announce information and instructions; insures that newly assigned enlisted personnel are instructed in military courtesy, customs, of the service, and command regulations or policies; provides counsel and guidance to NCOs and other enlisted personnel of the command; inspects duties performed by subordinate NCOs; notes discrepancies and initiates appropriate corrective action; assists in reception of visitors to the command; sits as president or, member of command promotion board for NCOs, as authorized by regulations; performs other duties prescribed by, the commander.
