Supervises and performs analysis and reporting of intercepted foreign communications and non-communications at all echelons.

Performs duties shown in preceding skill levels; develop SIGINT technical training strategies for subordinates; supervises processing, analysis and reporting functions; analyzes and evaluates intelligence data and releases SIGINT reports; provides guidance on the interpretation of SIGINT information and the employment of collection assets; supervises SIGINT ISR synchronization process of supported commands and other agencies; coordinates collection activities with other disciplines; the signals intelligence senior sergeant and signals intelligence chief serves as the principal enlisted assistant to commanders and heads of staff elements, and as staff NCO for major commands, fixed and tactical units engaged in signals intelligence/electronic warfare (SIGINT/EW) operations and combat development, or training; supervises SIGINT/EW activities and provides technical, operational, and administrative guidance and direction to enlisted Soldiers at all echelons; reviews, evaluates, prepares and executes SIGINT/EW deployment, employment, and redeployment plans and orders; interpret intelligence requirements for translation into SIGINT/EW tasking; reviews SIGINT/EW doctrinal publications and prepares recommended changes; compares modification Tables of Organization and Equipment (MTOE) and Tables of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) authorization documents with SIGINT/EW missions and functions and recommends revisions.

The signals intelligence senior sergeant and signals intelligence chief serves as the principal enlisted assistant to commanders and heads of staff elements, and as staff NCO for major commands, fixed and tactical units engaged in signals intelligence/electronic warfare (SIGINT/EW) operations and combat development, or training; supervises SIGINT/EW activities and provides technical, operational, and administrative guidance and direction to enlisted Soldiers at all echelons; reviews, evaluates, prepares and executes SIGINT/EW deployment, employment, and redeployment plans and orders; interpret intelligence requirements for translation into SIGINT/EW tasking; reviews SIGINT/EW doctrinal publications and prepares recommended changes; compares modification Tables of Organization and Equipment (MTOE) and Tables of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) authorization documents with SIGINT/EW missions and functions and recommends revisions; provides advice and makes recommendations to the commander and staff on all matters pertaining to enlisted soldiers and their families; accompanies the commander on inspections, visits and ceremonies; assists in inspection of command activities, facilities and personnel as prescribed by the commander; ensures adherence to command policies; holds First Sergeants' or Sergeants' Major call to announce information and instruction; ensures that newly assigned enlisted personnel are instructed in military courtesy, customs of the service and command regulations or policies; responsible for monitoring training or conducts training of enlisted soldiers; assesses training at all levels and provides feedback to appropriate commanders and leaders; provides counsel and guidance to NCOs and other enlisted soldiers of the command; responsible for and provides guidance on Non-Commissioned Officer Education System (NCOES) and Non-Commissioned Officer Development Program (NCODP); inspects duties performed by subordinate NCOs; notes discrepancies and initiates appropriate corrective action; assists in reception of visitors to the command; serves as president or member of command promotion board or removal board for NCOs, as authorized by regulations; sits as chairperson or member of a command's "Military Member of the Quarter/Year" competition for enlisted soldiers or NCOs, as directed by local regulations; responsible for quality, control and training of noncommissioned officer evaluation reports (NCOER) while ensuring timely submissions; reviews evaluation reports to determine compliance with policies and procedures and recommends corrective actions on deficiencies to commanders, other leaders and rating officials; performs other duties prescribed by the commander; assists in the professional development of junior and company grade officer.

Gathers, sorts, and scans intercepted messages to isolate valid intelligence; performs initial analysis to establish target identification and operational patterns; identifies, reports, and maintains Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Electronic Order of Battle (EOB) information in support of Commander's Intelligence Requirements; uses technical references to analyze communications and non-communications signals information; operate automated data processing (ADP) equipment for SIGINT collection, processing and reporting; develops and maintains analytical working aids and databases to support target collection, identification, and location; perform operator maintenance on surveillance systems, organic communications equipment, light wheeled vehicles and power sources; assists in the emplacement, camouflage, operation, protection and recovery of surveillance systems and/or associated equipment; prepares technical, tactical and time sensitive intelligence reports; performs duties shown in preceding skill level and provides guidance to subordinate Soldiers; performs intermediate analysis of intercepted communications and non-communications signals information; performs and supervises the correlation and fusion of SIGINT data and products; reviews intelligence reports; writes, edits, evaluates and publishes SIGINT reports; assist in the ISR synchronization process; performs advanced analysis on intercepted communications and non-communications signals information; analyzes technical documents and reports; supervises correlation and fusion of SIGINT operations; coordinates the SIGINT ISR synchronization process to determine mission objectives, priorities and taskings based on requirements; implement SIGINT emergency action plans.
