Supervises the operation of radio or television broadcast section.

Prepares scripts for American Forces radio and television programs and participates as an announcer, master of ceremonies, and actor in broadcasts; provides technical guidance to personnel in preceding level of skill levels; supervises the operation of radio or television broadcast section, team, or detachment.

Supervises the operation of American Forces Network affiliates or comparable broadcast activity; supervises, coordinates and technically assists in the operation of public affairs activities; assists command and staff officers in continuous appraisal of public affairs operations and training situations; makes notes of observed discrepancies and initiates appropriate corrective action; assists in planning, utilization, operation and maintenance support of public affairs operations; determines requirements, assigns duties, and coordinates activities of public affairs personnel; determines team assignments and structure of teams, based on mission requirements; recommends changes in location, quantities, or types of public affairs personnel according to military needs; exercises administrative control, and performs liaison between staff, maintenance, and operating personnel to improve effectiveness of public affairs; prepares administrative and technical reports relative to public affairs operations.

Supervises, coordinates and technically assists in the operation of public affairs activities; assists command and staff officers in continuous appraisal of public affairs operations and training situations; makes notes of observed discrepancies and initiates appropriate corrective action; assists in planning, utilization, operation and maintenance support of public affairs operations; determines requirements, assigns duties, and coordinates activities of public affairs personnel; determines team assignments and structure of teams, based on mission requirements; recommends changes in location, quantities, or types of public affairs personnel according to military needs; exercises administrative control, and performs liaison between staff, maintenance, and operating personnel to improve effectiveness of public affairs; prepares administrative and technical reports relative to public affairs operations; provides advice and makes recommendations to the commander and staff on all matters pertaining to enlisted personnel and their families; accompanies the commander on inspections and visits and at ceremonies; assists in inspection of command activities facilities and personnel as prescribed by the commander; holds first sergeants' or sergeants' major call to announce information and instructions; insures that newly assigned enlisted personnel are instructed in military courtesy, customs of the service, and command regulations or policies; provides counsel and guidance to NCOs and other enlisted personnel of the command; inspects duties performed by subordinate NCOs; notes discrepancies and initiates appropriate corrective action; assists in reception of visitors to the command; sits as president or member of command promotion board for NCOs, as authorized by regulations; performs other duties prescribed by the commander.
